This is a solid point. If someone else (Castro Bros.?) doesn’t distiguish themselves in the next three years, we are in even more trouble.

I don’t disagree with any of those points. I’m just not convinced a 70+ year old wealthy white woman can bring the necessary Democratic voters to the polls to win a presidential election.

When I was in law school I had a professor that always talked about how smart his wife was and how she knew more about bankruptcy than anyone else in the country. We all thought he was cute for talking about her that way, but didn’t think much about it beyond that.

Well, I’m not sure talking about strategic decisions regarding qualities of a potential candidate is what is going to be responsible for a certain candidate losing.

Experience was not lacking with Obama, that was a just a (failed) Republican talking point. He won. Twice.

I love Elizabeth Warren (despite the fact that her husband gave me my worst grade in law school). But it’s time to pass the torch. Where are the younger people with the passion and progressivism of her and Bernie?

I coached a Little League team of 7 year olds a couple years ago, and 75% of the team had names that ended in “n”, including some of the above listed variations.

I lived in Sacramento when he was drafted, and the town was crazy for him. I would head to the local school for pickup games a couple times a week, and everyone would be trying these crazy, never-successful, behind the something passes. It was a really fun time to be a Kings fan.

A few years ago there was a huge Blaine backlash. I’m happy that there seems to be an uptake in positive stories about him again.
