The Mazda one is definitely an improvement.
Hang on, let me pull out my tiniest violin for the rich guy who isn’t happy with the off road vehicle he bought to drive to his mountain chalet.
Yeah, I didn’t know that was possible either. It’s almost like he planned to flip it, and is using Jalopnik for publicity to potentially get a higher offer. Hmmmmm.......
Particularly a Ford. They always fuck up the first year models.
Is anyone impressed beyond an “oh, how about that?” level
Exactly, especially since he had the prescience to deliberately NOT register the car so he can still sell it as technically new. Frankly I don’t know how you can drive it off a dealership lot without it being registered but I am not a vehicle investor. But yeah this dude’s got cash and he’s gonna be just fine.
If he’s the type of guy who spent $3K on the service contract, I’m going to assume he doesn’t want to negate any warranty coverage on his engine by flashing the ECU.
100% this. I’ve spent most of my life thinking I wanted a Wrangler one day. I finally rented a new JL on vacation and put that idea to bed after the first 24 hours.
Every time we passed a 4door Wrangler my wife would comment on how cool they looked. Then we went on vacation and rented one, it took half a day for her to realize she does NOT want a Wrangler.
BUT I’M AN OUTLIER AND YOUR RULES DON’T APPLY TO ME!
I basically lived this guys exact life in Edmonton with a 3. On my own. In a ‘bit’ of a band (meaning I was hauling my guitar and amp around so that I could play it badly in my friend’s garages). And wanting something practical but fun. The Mazda was perfect - and he doesn’t even need AWD, the thing was a trooper in…
According to the z06 forums, you’re about 5 years about from getting one at msrp.
“I immediately had an Xpel ppf coating put on all the paint and a ceramic coating put on over that.”
Nik should clarify if he lives in Boston or “Boston”. If he’s out in Waltham / Newton / Brighton and has garage parking those beautiful wagons make plenty of sense. If he’s in Boston proper and parking on the street, he should consider something that will live a short brutal life.
Please provide a poll to vote on writer submissions. And since places with snow get potholes get something with sidewall.
That sounds like blaming the victim to me... We should immediately limit all train speeds to 15 MPH #15isenough #visionzero #pleasepleaserecognizesarcasm
Your right to keep this railroad crossing safe ends where my right to drive my personal property begins
Surveillance camera footage shows the vehicle driving around down railroad crossing gates and getting stuck on the tracks briefly before being struck by the train.
DO NOT DRIVE AROUND A RAILWAY CROSSING’S BARRIERS WHEN THEY’RE DOWN, THAT MEANS A TRAIN IS COMING.
