The conservative predilection for voting against their own personal interests is something I have been utterly confused about my entire adult life. I understand that they have been indoctrinated into a belief system by their social circles and corporations but the sheer lack of critical thinking still astounds me. 

My tiny brain has problems conceptualizing a multi-media sports franchise which keeps symbols of terroristic racial oppression around as a normal part of the work place.

Yup.  On another site I follow, someone begged everyone not to buy this.  If you absolutely must read it, wait list it at the library.  But do not, under any circumstances, give this man money for furthering the goals of this nightmarish administration.  He was a cog in the machine.  Never forget.

Aye, gotta keep the awareness of such idiots up from the beginning.  I suppose we could think of him as a Republican plant, hired to be there for the purposes of keeping Sasse’s competition low, but it’s most likely that Janicek is just an all-purpose idiot, no matter the political party.

This season, a great show became something absolutely masterful. The writing, character development, acting, combined with artistic (but not heavy-handed) cinematography, and the always-incredible music was just... complex, subtle, nuanced.
