I did not see A Star is Born, so I am probably missing a lot here. I watched the Oscar performance and that song is terrible, and the chemistry between them seemed very put on and fake. If I saw the movie would I become a believer? Would I like that awful song? Is B Coop better at singing in the movie?

to make small communities votes matter more

Because it appears to be true.

Sanders is the populist flipside to Dotard’s grandstanding. That’s why the DNC didn’t want him; they see him as the left’s equivalent to Tea Party chaos, bullshit, and inability to function. The Tea Party couldn’t stand on their own; they needed the GOP infrastructure to take over and

This comment is precisely what is wrong with the democratic party. The working class is not white. Working class politics are not white people politics. In fact, they are anti-white people politics. If you actually look at who voted for Trump (not who CNN and the hillbilly elegy guy says voted for Trump) it was

... how does he assert himself as arrogant? Like... he states facts... watches as someone implodes or disputes them illogically and then restates facts. He’s not puffing up his own ego, admits when he’s not an expert in something, and is sorta not impressed by Carlson’s childish tactics.

*shrug* sounds like a legit way

3.7 MILLION votes.  That’s how many he lost by in the primary.  Those aren’t caucuses, those aren’t superdelegates.  Those are actual voters, speaking with their voice saying they wanted Hillary and not Bernie.  Deal with it.

Elizabeth Warren.  No, she is not a socialist.  But a socialist cannot win a general election imo.

HE LOST BY 3 MILLION VOTES you absolute fucking moron. The DNC didn’t cast those votes, Democrats did. I will vote for him if he wins the nomination but you don’t get to remake reality.

Members of the Democratic party gave Hillary some support because she’s a Democrat who has supported the party for over fifty years. If Sanders wants the support of DNC members or other party members, he should work on supporting the party. Oh, I forgot, he’s only a member when it serves his political interests.

I get worried when legitimate complaints of Bernie get handwaved away as: “Well you don’t have to like him to support him”. It reeks of the same double-standard Trump supporters use. With the field that exists today, we don’t need to hitch up to this wagon again.

“Some of us, not me, pinched our noses and voted for Hilldawg.”

Look. I’ll vote for him if he wins the primary, just like I’ll grit my teeth and vote for Kamala (despite how much I hate her prosecutorial record) if she wins the primary because they are both not Trump. But I don’t not want to vote for him because I don’t like him. I don’t want to vote for him because I think he

oh man, the “polling”

I really, really think he would have done better to strongly endorse someone rather than throwing his hat in the ring again. I don’t know if he could beat Donny, and alternately I’m also worried that if he *doesn’t* get the nomination we’ll have anger and disenchantment on the left similar to what we had in 2016.

Ugh ... I’m really not a fan of Cumbo, and I’d rather he not get anywhere near the Good Omens adaptation, which I was just starting to get excited for.

Judging from the three already filmed - more bloat. Now if they were to actually properly develop some of the red herrings they throw around, or develop the more conspiratorial criminal underpinnings he hints at but eventually drops- you could fill 10 hours of TV okay. But when they just drop these hinted plot points

Why does every review seemingly have to do with what they could have/should have done with race and/or female characters? Can we not just focus on what the actual show is, how solid this season has been, and what a good episode this was? The note passing revelation was heart breaking just as watching the dad be

I honestly half expected the gas leak to blow up the house with Fiona and Ingrid and just take those plotlines away. It would fit the original Shameless (both Kash and Mandy) and feel about as half-assed as the rest of the season has been going.

His compulsive overuse of alliteration is truly galling. I mean, for Christ's sake, "globe of gilded gold"? Gilt is gold, you dipshit.

I move Chris O’Dowd replace Chris Pratt on the list of top Chrises.
