It’s easy to deny your racism, when there are so few people of color to call you out on it.

Who the hell cast that? Mr. Gill was a big rough looking masculine person that insisted on be referred to as male, and they what? Cast a 110lb super effeminate looking woman to play him? He demanded to be called Mister. He obviously valued his masculinity. What are they gonna do? Slap a mustache on her? Jesus. Take a

Why does she have to defend herself for getting roles? The people who cast should be catching flack more than her. If she thinks the role is right for her and it helps develop her craft - why wouldn’t she take it?

Because she is sort of pro-choice, or at least neutral on it. Most of the men are adamantly, hardcore anti-choice and no amount of protest is going to change that. Senator Collins, however, might be swayed.

He would be 23 years old. 23. Maybe done with college. Maybe out living his life.

Spoiler alert: the nominee is not going to give a straight answer on Roe and that’s going to be good enough for her.

When any other measure short of publicly shaming fails to gain traction, you use the tools left to you. Trump and company are the ones who have chosen to be tone deaf to anything less.

“berating” lol

“During his remarks, Severino also relayed a story about a Catholic nurse who was required to perform an abortion, which violated her religious beliefs.”

Sooo.... How many of these politicans offering prayers do you think actually even go as far as really sitting down and praying for these victims? My guess is not very many.

Dude seriously couldn’t have waited another 6 months? I mean it’s not a given that we’ll be in a stronger position in the next Congress, but we’re in no position to have any effect on Trump’s choice now. He’ll be nominated and confirmed by November, if not by August.

Yeah, seriously, what does this actually mean?  Will anything happen?  Because it feels like nobody is actually enforcing the law in the States anymore (except against minorities, I suppose).

I mean the couple themselves seem chill but the people behind them with those signs? I mean wouldn’t it have just been easier to say “Open up civil partnership to everyone!!!”. It’s like they’re going out of their way to look like assholes.

Yeah...but the law was original meant to help out same sex couples when they were still prohibited from marriage.  Now that same sex couples can marry, not sure why civil partnership needs to be same sex only.  It’s not a major victory for human rights.  But maybe a minor victory for “Yeah, I guess that makes sense.”

Now the important question - will people be arrested if this doesn’t happen?  Because there’s a point at which the law is just a piece of paper, and I’m becoming concerned we’re at that point.

The battle lines are drawn. Like this federal judge, most have chosen a side.

To be clear, literally all they did was take her name off a prize.

You’re looking for a problem where none exists.

connecting with public officials is acceptable. it isn’t ‘doxing’. don’t be afraid. reach out. regularly. make them delete/remove whatever shit you throw at them. then send some more. they get paid to do nothing except for mayhem. we all know mayhem isn’t about insurance... it’s about blood letting criminals in

Remember folks, doxxing is bad unless it’s done against people you disagree with nazis.
