I wonder if Guillermo really doesn’t care about becoming a vampire anymore

If any part of you is “grinning,” I think you’re the complete asshole in this situation.
Folks, this is partly why the Unions were, and still might, going to strike.
seems like prop guns have killed a lot of actors over the years. i remember being a small child and finding out the main character in one of my favorite shows (actor Jon-Erik Hexum of Voyagers!) died goofing around, pretending to shoot himself in the head with a gun loaded with blanks, in a break between takes.
Fuck off with that nonsense. Even setting aside that corporations have most of the negotiating power and legal advice and that it’s often difficult to even know what the going rate is, let alone what other stuff you should be taking into account, Steve Englehart and his artists created the original Star-Lord character…
There will be a movie about all this one day and it will be the most miserable thing to watch. I would greatly prefer a wish fulfillment nonsensical film like that where I don't need to be reminded how quickly we are backsliding as a country because of a motherfucker too incompetent to even be Mussolini.
This might make the subject of an uplifting movie starring Bradley Cooper some day
Yes, sadly their nephews Peter Vidal and Peter Capote could have stopped the thief who killed them, but he didn’t want to get involved. I wonder what ever happened to those boys.
Troma really gets on my nerves at times as someone who loves gross and offensive humor. My gross and offensive humor needs to have effort, and sometimes they just went for the laziest shock value possible. (ie: they joke about James Byrd Jr’s murder by hate crime and there’s no joke to it, it’s just loldecapitation)
It’s uncanny. Chucky looks like he has barely aged a day.
It would have been a fun scene to have a character look like Madonna in the Matrix and just some shlub in the “real” world, so it’s a shame they didn’t do it. I mean, “Switch”? Duh. I suspect the new one will incorporate that idea, now.
I made the same comment (in the grays) but the character you are thinking of is Switch. Madonna bears a closer resemblance to the actress eventually cast as Switch (Belinda McClory).
I’m guessing it was the woman in white leather. Can’t remember her name, but she seems like a better fit for Madonna than Trinity.
My guess would have been Switch and not Trinity. She looks a bit more like Belinda McClory at the time and her sexual ambiguity might have been more along the lines of what the Wachowski sisters were thinking of at the time.
I like Indya Moore a lot, they were great in Pose.
The Albert Fish joke wouldn’t even work if Norm hadn’t been so amazing at constructing sentences and choosing his words. The intelligence intersects with some childish/banal stuff to make the joke, which is not an easy feat at all to pull off. I doubt any other comedian could do it, because you also need to employ that…
It will be pre-empted for a football movie
After the last 4 years of T#### I see no need to pass on misinformation. If someone doesn’t like the actual policies and says so, that’s one thing - they can be examined. But the beliefs about this are entirely fabricated, in large part by Jay Leno’s writing staff, and I cannot help but think that it played a part in…
I read Helter Skelter in my early teens. I enjoyed the book, but perhaps because at the same time I devoured every Stephen King and Dean Koontz book I could get my hands on, the brutality of the true events perhaps didn’t quite register as heavily as they should have. I knew it was non-fiction. My teenage brain and…
It’s about a cult and a festival devolving into supernatural madness. I feel like no one reads his stuff which is a shame.
