I believe it was Iger, there were reports that Kennedy pushed for two things: 1.) Solo be pushed back to November/December because modern audiences saw Star Wars projects as Holiday releases; 2.) That they postpone the third ST entry by at least a year to figure out the best way to handle Carrie Fisher’s passing. Iger

It really depends. If you’re a haunted Chuck E. Cheese movie with a relatively low budget of $20 million, then it’s very much a win. If you’re a historical epic or a big budget comic book extravaganza with a $200 million budget minimum, then it’s an empty victory.

Groening might have established rules but they pretty much quit following them after the shorts. In Season 4's “Lisa’s First Word” Homer strangles toddler Bart like three times without any repercussions. The most disturbing is probably the following seasons “Secrets of a Successful Marriage” where Homer strangles Bart

From what I’ve seen online, she changed into a leotard inside that had all kinds of fringe appliques to mimic wings.

The event raises money for UNICEF. Tickets go for thousands of dollars (a ten person table will set you back half $100K). Do you know why people are willing to pay thousands of dollars for a ticket? Because Heidi Klum’s over-the-top costumes guarantee that photos from the party are going to be making the rounds for at

Amazon MGM, and there are no writers attached yet, so that means there’s not much concrete information we have about this. Variety, which originally reported this news, says that the show will “be set within the world of the film,” so this might be some kind of legacy sequel thing.

Jewish people can be cruel towards other Jewish people. Until recently, there was always a weird double standard where it was acceptable to mock Jewish women celebrities for their noses but if you said the same thing about Jewish men it was racist. Because women in Hollywood are held to different standards when it

Because book smarts doesn’t protect you from believing in stupid things. Also - it should be noted - Bialik herself admitted that she wanted to go attend medical school but her grades weren’t there. Bialik is smart, but smarter people than her have believed stupider things.

Lawrence was in a low-budget movie directed

Dr. Blossom is bad, but that doesn’t mean it was okay to make fun of her appearance when she was a teenager, especially in a manner that harkens back to centuries of racist imagery.

You can think Bialik is a quack who peddles misinformation but still empathize with her on a personal level.

The difference is that The Nightmare Before Christmas was initially touted as a Disney film. The teaser trailer was just some landscape footage of the “What’s This?” scene with maybe like  a few seconds of Jack’s hand touting Tim Burton as a visionary and comparing him to Walt Disney.

It’s not really a remake anymore than Rise. It follows the same basic setup (young people in a spooky cabin find a mysterious book) and has some blatant homages to the OG franchise, but the story is its own thing: A young woman struggling with addiction is taken to a cabin by her brother (who is struggling with guilt

He could very well have owned the rights to those outtakes. Williams famously waived his usual asking fee to the SAG bare minimum as a thank you to Disney for making Good Morning, Vietnam.

However, because Barry Levinson’s Toys starring Williams was scheduled to premiere a few weeks after Aladdin, Williams requested a

Part of the reason D.H. Lawrence was so controversial in the UK was because he based the events of a lot of his novels (including the part in Women in Love where a wealthy family’s daughter falls off the boat at a party and drowns) on real people and incidents that were happening in Nottingham.

But think about how many characters in recent MCU titles have changed to female and/or POC. Ironheart, Natalie Portman’s Thor (though quickly killed off), Black Panther, Kate Bishop, Falcon becoming Captain America, etc.

Tegridy Farms isn’t over though. A recurring plot point for the past two seasons has been Randy’s rivalry with Tolkien’s dad Steve who opened up a rival business. Last season ended with Randy throwing a drug fueled bacchanal at the farm over his fears Stan was becoming a nerd.

By all accounts, Paramount hated the franchise and actually wanted to stop producing sequels because they were so embarrassed by it, but the movies were so cheap to produce and made so much money at the box office that they couldn’t justify not making the films. Finally they just sold the rights off to another studio.

No. The character’s superhero name is actually Tek Knight. It makes more sense in the comics where he’s a cross between Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne but in the show he just hosts a Dateline style program. At one point another character even mentions that he was never a proper superhero.

You’re absolutely right. The Facts of Life has wrapped up like two years before Blossom premiered (the finale actually doubled as a backdoor pilot where Blair takes over the school and becomes the mentor to a new generation of students including then unknows Juliette Lewis and Mayim Bialik). There was also Full House.

Maybe the other people down here discussing Eli Roth movies?

You seemed to care enough about their opinion to get riled up and do that thing where you say no one cares about their opinion, whilst yourself acknowledging the aforementioned opinion.

That one actually wasn’t that bad. Was it a modern horror classic? No, but it was a fun horror film (and I’m someone who usually hates found footage). I never saw the sequel.
