I love when people who don't actually understand the science behind a particular experiment decide that "it's obvious" or "so dumb" without bothering to figure out A) what was being tested; and B) what was actually discovered.

Grim Fandago. Film Noir set in the Land of the Dead. Strong story and characters, great sense of style and relatively short game this would make for a genuinely epic animated movie. It will make you rethink the way you feel about Grim Reapers. It is my favorite game, it's why I use it as my icon here and why I have a

Here's my equally horrifying dystopian solution, cribbed from Ender's Game: indiscriminately mix training simulations and real-world sorties, and don't tell the operators which is which. Maybe 3 out of every 5 missions are fake, and only 2 are real. How's the operator to say which was which? Maybe he killed someone

I understand that you did not care much for Myst or Riven. However I consider them to be two of the greatest games ever made and frankly my favorites. Although puzzles are difficult they are immensely satisfying to beat and you are frankly more intelligent for figuring out how to do so. I very much enjoyed the story

Without a doubt my pick for number one optimistic sci-fi work. Grand, evocative and human. I could say more and gush, but I'll keep it short for now.
