Earth is only about 4 times wider than the moon. You can cover a full moon with an outstretch fingertip from earth so a closed fist outstretched would give you a rough estimate of a full earth from the moon. Very rough estimate based on my proportions, and I have quite small hands as well.

Medicine. People still get cut open with knives or poisoned to fix ailments. Very low tech.

So I saw Gravity. And its amazing, really amazing. Not kidding when they say go see it in 3d in the biggest screen you can find.its got innacuracies and implausible situations and circumstances sure, but they are forgivable and relatively minor compared to the films impact.

I like it, interesting idea! though I can just imagine idle thoughts somehow being transmitted without people meaning to and leading to embarrassing situations ;)

The manifest is useful but probably too optimistic. Late 2014 at best would be my guess.

Is he osseointegrated or socket? Because this kind of prosthetic with something like an ITAP would be amazing.

Also, always wear goggles when glassblowing, and never trust a pneumatic guillotine to work safely.
