Except in 1960-1990, non-hispanic whites were well over 80% of the US population. Today, it’s between 60% and 65%. The demographics are against the “get out the white vote” electoral strategy. The GOP needs to get a non-trivial fraction (not necessarily the majority) of the hispanic and black vote if they want to win…
