They might be connected right to the backbone. That stuff isn't cheap but bandwidth really isn't that bad. I recently got a Gig line for 600$ a month from a company that runs fiber. I don't think they would do that. That's just hurting android and for no reason. The android youtube player works fine and they could just update it seeing as how it isn't built in and can be updated from the market.
