And that, I believe, is part of the reason Platinum Games was formed:)

Ya, I believe the fight was a steal even though I bet on Bradley, (I mean, he freaking left on a wheel chair, and Pacquiao practically didn't have a scratch) some mafia/syndicate crap just happened there.

O just played Lollipop Chainsaw. I mentioned before that it was released early in some parts of the world. Verdict: It gets old really-really quickly. I think Suda51 was trying to court all the Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad fans because game-play-wise their almost exactly the same, like a slower Dynasty

Maybe some Lollipop Chainsaw if I can get a copy. It has been released prematurely in some shops here in Asia.

Now playing

What a waste of money. They used to do good stuff in the past. One my favorites as a kid is an animation about the god Nezha. Quite nice for c1979.

I recognize that they indeed use 'tricks' to make these games run, that's why I mentioned up-scaling. But those tricks won't hide the fact that next gen games on these consoles will not be equal (meaning fidelity) to whatever was showcased in the demos of those games even if they do optimize the game on those systems.

"There may well be an Xbox 360 and PS3 version of Watch Dogs or 1313, but they probably won't look like what we've seen this week."

Jonathan Livingston Seagull! It's a pretty short book. Teleporting seagulls are cool (heh)

I'm glad she get so much work if she enjoys what she's doing:) For me, porn is a decent way to make a living and not at all humanly degrading.

"The distinction between hanged and hung is not an especially useful one (although a few commentators claim otherwise). It is, however, a simple one and easy to remember. Therein lies its popularity. If you make a point of observing the distinction in your writing you will not thereby become a better writer, but you

For me, the new king of the road that Ninja Theory should be concerned with isn't the early DMC series but Hideki Kamiya's own take on how game-play for these types of 'beat-em-ups' can evolve, that of course is Bayonetta. Yes what you want about the cheesy story and misplaced misogyny but the game-play in there, is

I agree, that's true . Button/direction input time is a lot less stricter in DOA. You don't have to do 'just frames' or any precise timing on inputs to pull of damaging strings or even juggles.

Graphics are great and all but sometimes I question character modelling especially in 3d fighting games. Look at the first pic (Ayane vs Kasumi) Focus on Kasumi's left leg. Ankles do not bend that way! Of course Tekken also has the same issue, but they should definitely fix that.

true, true. Sometimes I just wish that Cage wasn't in control of story and game-play and just produce the game or lend the tech to some other company better at those things.

Quite unusual that one of the cops didn't even bother to ask the conductor to stop the train before engaging the girl in a rooftop battle or even during the inspection portion (see The Last Express) , also odd that none of the cops ever bothered to use a taser at the very beginning of their altercation and

And the most frustrating difficulty ever in a fighting game. (minus KOF boss syndrome)

easier control scheme? They're almost exactly the same with the exception of the VF guard button being also the DOA parry/counter button ( see pic) Also note the shoulder buttons don't count, they're actually just shortcuts to button combinations (i.e. a+b, a+b+c, etc.).

I'm all about massive subtlety nowadays when it comes to my slice of life anime.... okay, rather, cute sexual innuendo is my cup of tea nowadays, and nothing gets cuter and more filled with unusual sexual innuendo than Mysterious Girlfriend X. Yes I feel right tingly inside when messing up his girlfriends hair turns

Yes, was it good? I never got to watch it, since I haven't seen quality subs yet.:)

Nah, I want one with an actual fleshed out background story comparable to Kratos.
