How is either one of those vaporware? The FT-1 was never announced to be put into production nor has it been in limbo enough time to call it vaporware, for all we know they are working on a production version. The NSX is not vaporware as it will be coming out next year.

Idk, its better than my local dealership ads. I didn't find it funny or enjoyable but at least it was different I guess. In a world full of "come on down to ______ we'll give you a great deal on a lease" ads this one stands out, even if its because its bad, it make it on Jalopnik.

I would be more on board if it wasn't just cosmetics. But since it is already a pretty potent car I guess its ok.

Someone please wreck one soon so I can put the motor in a SRT 300.

I thought so too, but the new front has grown on me.

The Maserati GranTurismo laughs at your list. Big, comfortable, powerful, best exhaust sound around, mid 20's on the highway.... sure its $126,000 but worth it.

Yes I agree, my first post was a bit off of what I truly intended to say, the 15 minute editing time stinks, Kinja'ed!

I've done One Lap, Waterford Hills, local Auto-x's, local TA's, ect... This year we were also racing competitively in the drag racing arena in the SuperComp dragster class but unfortunately we had a mechanical failure that took us out for the season, so now I am just finishing up restoring my Street Rod over the

Ok cool, now that we got our pointless backgrounds out of the way. I agree with all of that you said but you are living in a fantasy world. These types of people, and I see them often, are not going to get in a Miata and put in 100's of laps. The GTR is by far the best car I want THESE kinds of drivers in. If they

The car has nothing to do with it then.... The article is fucking stupid and does nothing to help this guy learn, all it does is bash him and help the keyboard warriors think they can drive better than him.

No it is not a better car for learning, but as I said I would rather have these people who can afford $100,000 track toys in a GTR over a Z06, Viper, ect... Should they learn in a less powerful car, probably, but this is better than the alternative I believe.

Ah, the "I make assumptions so I look like an ass" mentality. This article does nothing to help that guy learn, its just a way to bash a car for its aids while at the same time talk about the driver in a derogatory tone while helping all the keyboard warriors on here think they know how to drive because they are

I am coming from a place of someone who raced competitively. Where are you coming from?

I disagree. You don't have to spin out to learn something on the track.

Welcome to the internet.

Exactly, well it kind of does....at least they are in a GTR.

If not more shitty, at least he is learning in a car that won't let him spin out and wreck others. Exactly, once this guy works on his braking points so he can hit apex's he will be fine.

I completely disagree. Good luck telling people who can afford $100,000+ play toys that they need to buy a Miata, lol....

Good luck getting people who can afford $100,000 play toys in a Miata.... The way I see it im glad these people are in a GTRs over a Z06 or Viper. At least people in the GTR's wont take me out when they lose control.

This article is totally ass backwards. The GTR is the perfect starting car. I would rather have the tech gizmos saving them than having them spin out in front of me in a rwd snap oversteer car. Clearly anyone who can afford a $100,000 GTR could easily be starting in a Z06, Viper, ect... thank god they are starting
