The golden parachutes must be incredible.
The golden parachutes must be incredible.
Megalomania and hubris are funny that way.
How does a company expect to grow with advertising without a Press Office? Why would they think large, international conglomerates would want to interact with a company that auto-sends poop emojis in response to real and important questions? Is there a better way for Twitter to say “nah, we dont actually give a…
For sure. I basically haven’t been visiting on my own since Musk took over, and only go when other people I care about send me links a couple of times a month. During each of those times the unfiltered comment sections full of hate remind me why I don’t visit daily. To some I imagine that’s a feature and not a bug,…
The view at the top of the glass cliff must be nice. For a little while.
However, Yaccarino won’t be walking into Twitter without backup. As reported by the Journal, she’s bringing on Joe Benarroch, NBCU’s senior vice president of communications, advertising, and partnerships, to the blue bird app in a business operations role.
There’s a very simple fix to the hemorrhaging of ad revenue - STOP PROMOTING HATEFUL AND NAZI CONTENT ON YOUR SITE, TWITTER.
Most of the stuff we buy comes from China anyway, so isn’t this site just cutting out the middleman?
I believe Miyamoto has stated that Link will never talk so the player can imagine themselves as the character. It’s no surprise trans kids are seeing themselves in him, it was kind of the goal from the start. Certainly worked on me when I was a kid.
Yeah that was my experience. I’m non-binary assigned male, but I’ve always been attracted to women, and my childhood was a deeply confusing, alienating experience of feeling left out of any kind of romantic partnership in life even though the world kept telling me I was a boy.
I didn’t really know until I was about 11, but I had some early same sex attraction as early as 2nd grade... but even then it took about 6 more years to process it since media at the time was acting as if being gay was a really shameful thing.
I learned that I was gay just about the second puberty hit. I learned that it was not acceptable when the other kids introduced me to “queer” as a derogatory term, which would have been around oh, early 2000s or so. Thankfully that’s not as much of a problem these days, but yeah, there was no media involvement here.…
Fox News and being angry at video games, a long-standing tradition.
This is exactly what they want. Those kids to feel sad and ashamed. And they will.
Interestingly, I knew I was trans/ nonbinary since I was a kid, and before I even knew those such words existed.
Hiding these terms from kids isn’t gonna not make them trans/ gay/ etc, it’s just gonna make the kids that are these things feel incomplete. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
From the ads I’ve seen, Temu just seems like the Wish.com version of Wish.com.
I dunno - after reading about a few sellers’ experiences on Temu I doubt I’ll be signing up anytime soon. More than one seller reported Temu pressuring them to reduce their prices after the contract was already signed and product manufactured, threatening to boot the seller if they didn’t. Lots of sellers losing lots…
I discovered Temu a few months ago via an Instagram ad for a pair of Switch controllers for $4.98. Once I determined they wouldn’t steal my identity outright, I figured, why not? The deal wound up being even better—I ended up paying $3 for some reason—and the controllers (which usually sell on the site for around $25)…
This. Is it morally wrong to steal from property owners?
Says someone who didn’t pay his office rent.
