Houston played 7 guys (minus garbage time) and scored 25 points in the second half. It really felt like they went for a knockout in the first quarter and couldn’t sustain it.

Warriors fell down by 17 in the first quarter and outscored Houston 93-47 the rest of the way. That’s a 46-point turnaround in 36 minutes. “Flipping the switch” is a lazy-ass term, but good lord did they do that.

I actually agree that’s part of it. Another part of it is that Americans are just racist. Slave owning George Washington and slave raping Thomas Jefferson led to Trump.

“NAZI’S ARE LITERALLY THE OPPOSITE OF AMERICA AND AMERICAN IDEALS.”

Yes, exactly. It’s an extremely outdated concept from the early internet, and it assumes that we are incapable of making moral judgments about an amoral action given the context.

I am perpetually perplexed at the way people use “doxxing” and “outing” in a way that suggests revealing information about a person is equally bad in any context.

I love that Stoolies are treating publishing PFTCommenter’s real name like she just unveiled that Batman is Bruce Wayne.

1. Publishing a celebrity’s name is not doxxing

Seriously. Imagine what would happen to the Vegas economy if all predictions were always correct.

To Barry’s credit, this is by far the worst season in the history of the franchise, so he was at least right about that.

It must be such a relief for all those lifelong Las Vegas Knights fans to dunk on all the haters and doubters. God knows they’ve had to endure so much!

“So stupid, right? I predict he’s really going to regret it.”

Barry, you fucking idiot. You made a prediction that didn’t come to fruition. Jesus, why on earth would you even do that?

Also RIP Reg E. Cathy. Bit of a gut punch seeing him there in the trailer.

Too bad both Sharon Jones and Charles Bradley won’t be making return appearances - two of my favorite moments in the first season (and both great artists in general). RIP.

It’s 10:59 AM right now and I’ve been thinking about lunch for two hours.

Is 11 really too early to think about lunch?

Defenders of the Earth was forcefully dumb but I thoroughly enjoyed it as a kid. It had an episode which contained the first instance I remember seeing of a device that could freeze time, an idea I became obsessed with for a lot of my childhood.
