Yeah. Diesel and Walker hated each other. Diesel also screwed Walker out of back end deals. And then used his death for mawkish nostalgia to spin PR gold to the tune of a billion dollars.

He's an asshat.
He's a chill guy. He's just hellbent on killing blockbuster cinema. Along with Robert Downey Jr. and Johnny Depp.
Vin Diesel has been part of several horror stories on set. There's a reason why his career stalled and he had to return for fast 5
THE SHIELD > THE WIRE.
Not to mention, it ripped off it's ONLY good part i.e 'The Climax' from TRANSFORMERS 3. It's a crass, safe, commercial product that got an overt pass due to fanboyism and people's refusal to look past it's ordnariness.
Yeah. People love RDJ. Which is why everyone showed up for 'The Judge'. and made it a box office phenomenon.
DC really,REALLY lucked out with Nolan. He's the lotus in the shit pond of their creative brain trust when it comes to comic book movies.
That's one scene that works. Had it been better directed, more visually beautiful and had a climax full of stakes before it, it would have really transcended the genre.
AOU (aside from the studio meddling) clearly had a terrible script and you can see it in the actors' performances. NONE of them except for Ruffalo look happy to be there and it's clear that they didn't believe in the script and HATED delivering those terrible one-liners.
The first 45 minutes are HIGHLY problematic. It looks worse than Agents of SHIELD and has no drama, tension whatsoever.
It's a real movie. Something that most of the MCU (or for that matter FOX) isn't
FILMCRITHULK mentioned that Age of Ultron was leading to a darker ending originally that was shelved just to keep the machine going.
Truth.
People will get tired by then. All of the Superhero movies (save for Deadpool) underperformed this year. Fatigue is real.
I'm just glad that 'Scott Pilgrim' is getting the cult appreciation it deserves. I went to see it opening weekend with 4 people in an almost empty theater and whilst I was having a two hour cinematic orgasm, all 4 of them HATED it and so did everyone else in that showing.
Wright is EVERY bit an Auteur as Nolan,QT,PTA etc. He's got his stamp on every film of his and in an intelligent, insightful way.
Where were these assholes AFTER they announced a sequel to 'The Hangover'???
I'm still confused as of why PACIFIC RIM is so polarizing. It's the most 'cinematically literate' blockbuster in YEARS. Much better than any MCU or Transformer movie (except the first). It respects film history, has great world building and is a lot of fun to watch.
