She was over-critical of Argo so he dumped her.

PTA can't be destroyed. He made a masterpiece starring Adam Sandler , which means he can accomplish anything he sets his mind to.

What I meant was that it was the role that bought him a lot of attention (of the good kind). He's gone on to achieve big success but 'Boogie Nights' really was his once-in-a-lifetime-break. It's the sort of showstopping movie (and role) that instantly puts you on the map.

Yup. That movie single handidly made his entire career.

Tom Cruise is DYNAMITE on screen. Actors DREAM about having a 30+ year career with so many great moments.

Of course I've read it and it's amazing. It's got me thinking though that the early to mid 00's were a great time to be a comic book fan. So many excellent titles : Ennis' Punisher; Bendis' Daredevil and (Early) Ultimate Spider man, All the great Vertigo stuff ,Grant Morrison's X-men and Seven Soldiers, Geoff Johns'

The 'Mother Russia' arc is worth the price of admission alone.

It's totally amazing. It made me a fan of Frank Castle. And I hated Frank Castle before. I heard somewhere that Tom Hardy wants to play The Punisher. After reading Ennis' run, I can totally see him doing that succesfully.

It was fantastic. The Marvel version of 'Batman Begins'.

The scope and scale is still mind boggling. Cameron makes you FEEL the entire ship. If you saw that movie in a theatre, you know what I'm talking about.

So many years later and It's still a blast. How many 3 and a half hour movies can you say that about??

True. Why can't Ashton Kutcher die instead??

WOW . You guys are Assholes.

I always had the crazy theory that Kilmer after running away from his family in 'Heat', put on a lot of weight, became an evil mastermind and showed up as Dieter Von Cunth in 'MacGruber'.

In that case, you should definitely go to his pool parties!!

LOL 'Emote'. All they have to do is say snarky one-liners. There is NO emotion in any Marvel movie anywhere.

SUCH a great phrase. Shame it wasn't used in a better movie.

He's on vacation!!!

Cusack must have gotten a healthy back end off that, I think. He' probably making more money that he would if he worked back home.

Yep. Bay's got a lot of flack because of the Transformers ( and most of it is deserved) but IMO 'The Rock', 'Bad Boys ' and 'Armageddon' are all classic pieces of low-brow cheese that even the harshest snob enjoys deep withing his/herself. (Whether or not they ever admit it)
