'Sideways' ruined my job
I worked four years in a winery tasting room and started keeping marks for each time I got "Have you see that funny movie Sideways? It's HILARIOUS!"

My friend insists upon seeing ever MNS movie in the theater. I finally dug my heels in at 'The Happening.' Caught the last half hour on television a while back. The dialog made me want to wound things.

Man
I somehow missed this one, and I consider myself an expert on seasonal jewelry commercial diatribes.

Thank you for making my afternoon.
This is a marvelous headline.

Invincible?
My buddy picks up the hardback collections as they're published and I read them all within a couple weeks. Slow start, but it hooked me.

Christmas episode
on 6th December. That alone should be worth a write-up.

Particularly in that jacket.

AWWWWESOME. Right?
I appreciate the write-up, particularly if the arc develops. I'd love to see the Metalocalypse play out, or least go somewhere - either way I'm in it until the end.

Big Dumb Tractor
I worked in a cupcake shop in Alaska this summer past and we had the local radio station - we only had one - for four hours in the afternoon, for Flashbacks and Fresh Tracks (exactly what it sounds like, and some great mixes depending on the dj) and the country show. Depending on who had it, some

Oh God, the Christmas music. I worked a year at a liquor store and we were mandated to listen to soft rock. The Christmas tunes started right after Thanksgiving (conservative by today's standards), but that wasn't the worst part - every night we'd be subjected to the John Tesh Show at 8. Just heard Manheim

"I'm BAD Ash…"
"…and you're GOOD Ash."

I don't know that I'm feeling last night's episode as much as the premiere. It didn't seem to cover much new ground: We've seen endorsement deals and terror at a small venue, and I hope Brendon Small does something more with Murderface than make him the go-to screwup guy, especially after he got a bit of development

Muppet Family Christmas. Awesome. Every year my friends and I gather at a house with a VCR and watch an increasingly-decrepit VHS copy taped from television in 1987. Best Christmas tradition ever.

Damn, a quadruple. Sorry; satellite internet in the middle of a New England fall storm.

"…or at least Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey…"
Well, yeah, I think that's all who's left.
