Agreed. My high school graduation’s valedictorian speech was primarily centered around an analogy about how people were like penguins. And that girl was accepted to Princeton. This speaker has the guts and principles to make an amazing life for herself.

As a former valedictorian, former Texan, and current abortion care worker: Hell to the Fucking Yes. What courage and smarts she has to do this. Talking about abortion bans in a valedictorian speech is gutsy even in a liberal state. To do so in Texas, even more so times ten.

Charles Laughton is an absolute delight.  There's a bit early on when he tells a friend to pay Elsa Lancaster and politely kick her down the stairs that I still quote to this day.  Stellar film.

Definitely worth avoiding any and all spoilers; just enjoy it happening.

Agreed. I just immediately wondered why it wasn’t in the piece. That’s why--because she hasn’t said anything. It’s not then an example of bad journalism.
