Encore had it on one of their channels up until not long ago. It was good being able to see it again and held up better than I would've thought. I wish I could find copies of The John Larroquette Show somewhere.

Was just watching Larroquette on an old Johnny Carson rerun this morning off Antenna TV. He seemed exactly like he did in this…. a thoughtful, interesting guy. And he liked Pink so he has good taste. Good interview. Really liked the Burrows story. Like someone else said, it reminded me of a Will Harris piece.

Truly. Now I want Harris to call him back for a follow up RR interview. Besides Night Court I want stories about Altered States, Star Trek III, and working with Bergen, Spader and Shatner on Boston Legal. Hell, even his one-off appearances on West Wing and House were memorable and things I'd want to hear more about.

Excellent list. I would add "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour and Devo's cover of NIN's "Head Like a Hole"

Black-ish-ier

A friend who now teaches at a college in Michigan just now wrote to me to say that she showed the Remedial Chaos Theory episode to her class to illustrate a point. She was surprised to find that not a single one of them had even heard of the show.

I'm guessing more like March, but there should be an announcement in the next few days.

Right? No, really, they were odd. Even 80's Cinemax made more of an effort to establish the reasons the fucking was about to take place.

So many questions…….

Doctor Why?

I'm happy to hear that StartUp got renewed. The critics got it very wrong with that. Tellingly, many reviewed the whole season based solely on the pilot episode (or just the first couple), which admittedly did have a lot of gratuitous sex scenes in it. It was very engaging show overall though, with a fantastic cast.

I can. And I generally like Alex's writing…especially his Mr. Robot recaps which are pretty incisive. But to me this read like a drunk teenager throwing a hissy fit. Even if Reznor was completely wrong this was way more over the top than anything he said.

Deep dish?

You don't scare me. I've got chunks of guys like you in my stool!

Real men fuck Turduckens.

Seems a bit of a low bar to clear for quality television worth watching, no?

That's what I like about Green Lanterns. I get older, but they stay the saaaame age.

Yup. At this point I don't even want to watch the trailers or even read a summary or review. Just having their name attached is enough to get me to plop down the money and my ass in a seat to enjoy whatever the ride may be.

Best Hemsworth brother seems like a pretty low bar to clear. Kind of like best three-piece suit at K-Mart.

And just won.
