Exactly.
Exactly.
Those are some weak ass arguments. Their current lineup is overpriced and ugly. This doesn't apply to every car they've ever built doofus. Now if I said that and was still buying them you would have a point, but alas you are just making my point for me, I no longer wish to own one.
I still maintain a reality show doing some Craigslist auto shopping would be golden. This dude's ad makes it obvious.
CBS finally has a show people are talking about. I'm sure they are high fiving themselves as I type this.
I've seen some really sad looking bows on cars. Gotta have a good bow or it fucks the whole thing up.
I sound "embittered" because I said Volvos are overpriced and ugly? OK. You do realize this argument isn't about scoring a sweet deal on a used ten year old Volvo, it's about Volvo selling these things new. Who is going to spend $40k on new Volvo that will be worth $5k in ten years? Certainly not a smart person.
From the link you provided:
Really? You're going with the "well you must not be able to see" argument? How does that address the fact they're ridiculously overpriced? I've probably owned more Volvos than you despite your username and I can't find a single one in their lineup I'd drop my coin on.
I must have missed the whole "Volvo comeback." When did that start? I still see an overpriced lineup of shit I wouldn't own.
Probably not, but I'd be more likely to buy it.
Reverse:
By "these cars" you obviously mean the MK1 GTIs. I owned one and did not care for it at all. I later owned a MK2 with the twin cam 16v engine and loved that car. One of those in pristine condition might be worth what this guy is asking. Thus my comment.
What, you wouldn't allow yourself to be objectified on a billboard if they offered you what they paid her?
Crack pipe! Maybe for a twin cam, but that car just isn't worth it.
Nice catch. Does it feel pretty good being "that guy"?
You drew that when you were 10 didn't you?
You're definition of "car" is pretty loose these days.
