I am glad I am not the only one with a pure hatred for VTOL/STOVL. We should create a club. Seriously. Let’s do it.

A) It would be sub-optimal to put seawater on any deck. With a nuclear powered ship you have a (near) limitless amount of freshwater available.

yay! Not only did this make it a lot less painful but it also it helping it heal. I am actually mad that they sell crap at the drugstore that doesn't work, WebMD is worthless and yet I have to go and search old wives tales on the internet to heal a canker sore.

"MPG Conspiracy" is very subjective. We could easily double our mileage. Look what some hippies accomplished in the 90's....with a gasoline engine. (70 MPG)

Don't forget that there are huge energy losses in ICE engines as well. IMO when compared to EVs pneumatic cars are superior not because of power or range but the speed at which the "tanks can be filled" ( ~5 minutes instead of hours).
