@FrankGrimes: Many police officers carry AR15's in their cars now. It's because of how easy it is to get kevlar now. They just normally keep them in the trunk.

I like to handwrite my notes and then type them up later, because it allows me to look back over what I covered in class (and make sure my notes are legible while they're still fresh in my mind).
