You would probably need to attach to a cable off to the side of the road or overhead though. The slot would fill with trash and dirt and snow pretty easily.

“Simpsons did it" is to Television what "Tesla did it" is to electricity.

Came here for this. Am satisfied. Thank you.

I would ask if there is any study on how this impacts human health but I feel like no one cares and they’ll just wait until people start coughing up blood or whatever.

“9-1-1, what’s the emergency?”

There is a far simpler solution that has also been around for decades...

I’ve jumped 30 feet into about 8-10 feet of water. At that depth, you hit the bottom, but not with a ton of force. At 5 feet, you’d certainly feel it, but it’s enough water to avoid serious injury provided you land just right.

I have to constantly check my wife and her family because they are pretty fucking lackadaisical about strapping down our 2 year old niece properly. My sister-in-law lives about 4 blocks away from her mom, and they think it’s okay to just have the baby in a car without a car seat, and even if she IS in the car seat,

If you’re this guy, you just count on your enormous balls to break your fall

I can only assume he did the superhero landing... it seems appropriate given the actions he took.

I want to know more about these straps. Are they bolted to the road to stabilizing the truck until the tow truck can move it?

His name is Jonathan Bauer, but he goes by Jack.

Holy. Shit. Incredible work, Mr Bauer.

I had the same thoughts.

Stuff like this is a daily reminder that I need to learn how to swim.

How do you jump from 30ft up into 5ft deep water without getting hurt/killed...? I feel like I’d hurt myself jumping off the side of the pool into 5 feet of water (and I didn’t know its depth)

This guy is an absolute hero and I’m happy everyone is ok but my mind keeps going back to a couple issues:

I fear I will now be judged for the filth I look at on the internet.

Bodywork looks nice, close inspection is warranted.
