“well I was going to double stack the radiators up front, but I didn’t want to look too front heavy, you know?  Its all about proportions.”

You know, it’s almost like they knew the right thing to do the whole time. They just never did it. They kept showing they knew how to be Cadillac, but in practice, they’d do the opposite.

We’ve thought about possibly looking for a short-term rental of the following cars to do the evaluation, but local dealers aren’t interested, and car rental companies don’t have these vehicles

Tom said that in his article already, but your huffy whining really helps.

Well, this is certainly a testament to why Tom is the one getting these questions.

Unpopular opinion incoming:

As terrible as it is, I doubt it cracks the top 100.

I decided to look at the actual posting to see where on earth someone would think doing this to an SVT Cobra was a good decision....you get 1 guess....

Knock, knock.

It’s absurd how much I love this idea.

Could someone add some wood panelling to this?

I read that as JD Powah.

Initial quality...initially it’s ok then after that it’s a piece of crap”

Reminds me of the old joke about the Christian refusing to leave his house during a flood telling rescuers that God will take care of him, the punchline being God at the Pearly Gates saying “I sent you a cop, a boat, and a helicopter, what more did you want?”

That is most impressive. Even for a comment section.

WOW ... not only did you not read the article ... you didn’t even look at the picture!!!

Not a lawyer. I think the term is “gross negligence”. The contract doesn’t protect the shop because their action of the employee (illegal u-turn) is clearly “grossly negligent”.

They are right to have a release to protect them from shit that can happen that isn’t their fault, but they are wrong to use it to try to get out of shit that is their fault.  Even if it works, it’s a bad look.

I was always under the impression that those signs in valet lots and impound lots and at auto shops and whatnot that say “we are not liable, yadda yadda yadda” don’t actually hold any water from a legal standpoint. That’s what I was always told, anyway. Or at least what I’ve read online before.
