Nobody is claiming that HK invented anything, but MPVs are a particularly popular choice of executive transport there due to the lack of space and the prevalence of chauffeuring.

Not only is that a Previa (Estima for the JDM model), that is actually an Estima Hybrid with the E-Four system that the RXh uses.

That is one thoroughly destroyed car. Glad you lived to tell about it.

Never had any interest in any of the Vision Gran Turismo concepts. Very little of the design and “tech” (vapourware?) filters down to real cars that people can actually buy. And it annoys me that a racing game selling on realism is peddling these silly concept cars.

+1 on skipping the Recaros. When I went on a test drive I could not get over how restrictive they were for regular mundane driving. It’s not an objectively bad seat, but for what this car is (a fun, practical car for fun-loving people who only have space/money for one car), it can be aggravating to use on a daily

The 500L gets a lot of undeserved flak.

Um, the Prius is a great commuter and all, but most Toyotas are still dull appliances. Nothing wrong with that, just saying.

I would think more than a few people would be angry that their TDI belches more pollutants than advertised. I certainly would be disappointed and would not buy a diesel if it blatantly pollutes more than a gas/electric hybrid. The whole premise of diesel/urea filter systems is clean emissions and high fuel economy.

Hong Kong is a perfect place for Priuses. I hope those terrible LPG Crown Comforts start to retire and be replaced by Priuses in larger numbers. The Comforts are roomy, but the Prius is much safer having been designed for global crash standards.

Dat rigidity doe

I am not under the illusion that people buy Priuses for any reason other than fuel economy. The gas saved is especially outstanding in city driving. I’ve seen people average 50-55 MPG without even trying.

Are you saying the C7 is a bad car?

It’s important to sell a Ferrari with a stack of paper documentation. So that the buyer doesn’t need to call up every single shop that has ever worked on it.

Nice Price. $20k flat is the low end for a running, reasonably maintained Mondial. Pristine ones will fetch closer to $30 and above. The lack of service records means a serious buyer will need to create this car’s service history by sorting everything out and bringing it “back to today.”

It’s not much worse than many newer Ferraris.

Head-on impact tests the car’s crumple zones.

As some have suggested, the secret to passing this test isn’t brute strength in the central frame.

That is a very unwise thing to do to an F355. Those engine bonnets have very little supporting structure.

That’s too much variation. You have a lemon...err.....“remon.” Time to ask for your money back, or at least $5.

All exotic cars are objects of irrational desire and even more irrational consumption. Only people who can’t afford it will attempt to downplay your ride by saying something else is faster, or by asking inane questions like “Why didn’t you get a _____ instead?”
