Yep that works, too! If you have fire based spells and elemental weapons they are effective of course, but if you have the time and patience the braziers are also an additional option.

There are three hidden braziers that you can light to make your fight with Umibozu easier. You just have to take the time to find and light them. It’s very hazardous due to the environment and enemies.

Yuki Onna has got to be one of the hardest bosses in the game.

Did you light the three braziers around the map before you started the fight? It makes the fight much easier. After you light them when you go in you will have braziers out in the open which you can use to heat up your weapon for a big fire elemental boost.

Great review. I couldn’t agree more! The deep combat and weapon styles are what really shines over all in Nioh. The story is weak, straight-forward and quite frankly uninteresting. I’ve actually been skipping the cut scenes. They’re mostly just a bit too cliche. Still, it’s a fun game.

I mean the actual Ubisoft servers that let you enter the game. Played on Xbox over the weekend, and multiple times the game told me that there was a server problem or critical error before booting me from a match or matchmaking lobby

Another cool little tip is how to spot mimic chests. It’s not life or death or anything but it could be helpful if you need to avoid a fight and don’t want to roll the dice:

I kind of agree. I never played the early access stuff but so it’s hard to miss something I never experienced but I’m wondering if it really matters if the person beat it or not. I see both sides I guess.

There are a quite a few options for the excess gear and items you pick up along the way and there is a LOT of loot. You can easily end up with hundred of things so it’s important to make offerings, break down times, or Soul Match them. When offering you CAN occasionally get a “health elixir” but I believe it’s random…

I didn’t know that a controller could be affected by the router. I will test this out and see if maybe I had similar issues an diddn’t recognize it.

Just beat Enma last night. Man she was tricky and yes I get vibes of Lady Maria as well. 

I’m enjoying the game but my Ki pulse is often a miss.

Excellent advice. I tend to do those things at times, or just joke around through the game play. It also helped to be able to grab some really good weaponry. Gave me a sense of power at the very least and felt like the odds evened out.

I didn’t think I could play this game either, but it was surprisingly very enjoyable despite the many scares. I don’t normally do horror but this one I would highly recommend.

Was that dlc or something else?

Having just beat the game I can see I missed a lot of little secrets.
Some of the puzzles were fairly simple but there were items that I wasn’t quite sure what to do with. Like the toy axe and shotgun.

Yeah but it’s $30 for the season pass to get all the DLC available.
