Yeah and that was my point. It's probably one of the least offensive things on their menu in that regard. Unlike their processed "turkey based" roast beef and ham. Personally, I only eat the super delicious veggie patties (where available) in the rare event I find myself in a Subway.
The tuna at subway is just tunafish and mayonnaise. I always liked to make it a little extra soupy too. People don't want nasty dried up old tuna with not enough mayonnaise.
People were writing off Season 1 during the first few episodes as well, if I recall. "too philosophical, dialogue is clunky and unrealistic."
I really liked that look into code-switching actually.
I love his Spanish Fly routine. One of the best 3 minutes of stand up comedy every recorded
Plugged this a lot on NPR the past few weeks. I don't know how to read, but it sure sounded interesting.
OP strikes me as one of those people who seeks out SJWs to destroy every where he goes. He heard that line and got so rage filled by projecting his own bias, he missed the actual point of it.
I'm pretty sure "he's a man" was the black woman insinuating that she should seduce him to gain his confidence and then betray his trust.
I love this show

I think it would benefit from having 37 minute episodes. I think they have just been laying the groundwork though and it'll start opening up to breathe.
Luckily Tim Robbins is canceling his dick-doctor appointment and flying to India for next week's episode. Maybe the President will finally find some rice?
I love it too.
Also, You mention that it lacks serious satirical value, but then your "funniest scene" may have been one of the deepest pieces of social criticism I've seen in a comedy.
I seriously think you're underestimating this show. They NEED to jam all this plot in now to let it breathe more later. At least I hope so. The satire levels increased quite a bit from episode one. I also applauded its ability, as you note, to get serious when it calls for it; which IMO gives the jokey satire a…

Well, I'd say it's mostly the fault of the Brazilian hackers working on behalf of the North Koreans, but yeah Sony didn't help them.
At the rate they're going, they're all gonna gaffe themselves out of the race before it even starts
