@shamanstears: If you are not approved how did you post that this one???

@joelena: Thanks dude this is the one I was thinking of I believe!

Okay I have a question, I remember an article on lifehacker that told you ho to access your windows partition through linux on your dual-boot system. sorta like a remote desktop i believe. Anybody remember this, if so did you save the link to it?

I'm in love with gedit on ubuntu !

If this works well that would be sweet divx is a great format to work with

okay I understand why some people are forced to use it. But an easy workaround is to go to [portableapps.com] and install firefox onto a thumbdrive....problem solved :) no installs on your work computer but all the firefox goodness you can handle!

I love the canary in the coal mine reference haha it made me laugh

@amirman: your a good man :) I coverted last year but still unfortunalty have a laptop with 3 years left on it's 200 dollar warranty and ubuntu would void it so i think i'll put sp3 on it

@Bob Brown: I thought of the apparent Hitchhikers Guide tie-in also lol

hmm interesting I'll give it a shot

any hope of FF:3 Beta 5 compatibility anytime soon....pretty please! :)

@Leafy: Its cool buddy just poking fun lol

does anyone use xubuntu?? Whats the deal with it? i don't see anything really special

@Kilak: psh! I use a slide rule. They can do anything! :-P

@Confuzius: o man I am so stoked about the new version....I always get excited by Linux launch dates haha!

interesting but Launchy is still beast!

wouldn't it be cool if when you were running at optimal "save mother earth" performance it gave of a green hue like in the articles picture.....that'd be sweet!

@_||_: It seems so simple....but then again Windows sucks.....when it comes to simple stuff.......ugh
