Everyone is kind of looking at this with the wrong terminology. It's a virtual couch, not game sharing. You're simply passing the controller over the internet. I think it's great if you're watching a friend stream a game and he needs your help getting somewhere or finding something.

The best part is that instead of

They're doing fine. The Wii U isn't doing great, but the 3DS is doing fine and they have far more money in the bank than Microsoft's gaming division or Sony in general.

They would be stupid to stop creating and supporting dedicated gaming handhelds when it is the most lucrative part of their business.

There's an insane amount of people pushing for Nintendo to go third party and start moving their games to iOS. Iwata is a huge reason why Nintendo is avoiding smartphones and there are a lot of people who want Iwata gone simply because the Wii U has done so poorly.

People are irrational and dumb sometimes.

Not long if people keep pushing for Nintendo to take this stupid route.

Those textures are WAY too good, this is pushing early era PS2 graphics. The Gun is too detailed. About the only thing that fits is the Big Daddy being a sprite instead of a model, so maybe that would work out. As a 3D model though, you'd never get it looking like that.

This isn't tool-assisted.

As did I. I found it to be one of the most entertaining and fresh takes on a shooter in years.

You know, there's another title that did something similar to this....what was it called?

I played the game on PC and it ran flawlessly. I got no bugs, crashes, or bizarre behavior. I also didn't experience the stuttering thing.

I wanted to get it for Xbox 360, but when I heard about the stuttering thing I opted for PC.

This seems like exactly the sort of planted comment Bob would want in order to perpetuate the mad persona he established years ago. Think about that for a while, Bob

1. Because this whole thing is based around being #1 at Smash Bros. not #1 in general.

2. Smash Bros. is a versatile game, and can be highly competitive if you strip it to its core elements and play with top tier players. The amount of depth and precision required at that level is beyond anything the developers and

Relax, he was just experiencing a little gas. We all do from time to time.

No. PAX has always been a warm, diverse and welcoming place. It's grown to be such a large show specifically because of that. These are just isolated instances that really spun out of control. It brought in a ton of negative attention that immediately "negated" every amazing and charitable thing this duo has done for

I had not considered that, nor was I fully aware I could be selective in what I block. You may have just convinced me to check it out. It's not even pre-roll ads that bother me so much, it's how they are managed on Kotaku when there is a video embedded in the article as well. Just have a pre-roll ad in the video

Being an individual who runs a website himself I have too much respect and understanding that advertising is how these organizations get the money they need to operate. Because of that I refuse to use programs like AdBlock.

However, I do have issues with ads being invasive, so I'd rather bring it to their attention.

Ok, seriously, you guys have to do something about this pre-roll video ads not starting until after I click play on the video you have embedded. The video gets covered up so I can't pause it and the ad starts playing sound over the top of the video.

This is legit frustrating.

I haven't watched DBZ in over ten years, nor have I ever had an interest in going back to it. That said, there is some serious amount of "right" going on here. None of the DBZ fighting games have ever made me feel like they were worth my time, but a no-nonsense arcade style 2D fighter with a combo system like this?

because this game is intended to be funny, and the bugs just make it funnier. Bugs are not all of a sudden "OK" just because a dev says so, it's just this specific instance where certain bugs were not fixed because they made the game even funnier.

Really? I mean, I'm as much of a Batman fan as the next guy, and loved the original animated series, but I really didn't care for Harley's design. Despite being around and enjoying the older Batman stuff (even Adam West) I have actually enjoyed the art direction when it remains a bit more grounded.

While the sex

Ok, I gotta say. These video ads popping up are really annoying. I hate coming into a Kotaku article, clicking play on whatever video is on the top, and then the video ad pops up over it and gets annoying combined audio.

Couple that with the fact that I open up tabs of all the articles I want to read first, so they all
