I agree with Palmtop. Nintendoland didn't offer the same amount of casual reach as Wii Sports did and really shouldn't of been the pack-in title. Only my more core-gaming friends were able to get into Nintendoland at all and it really didn't offer enough to keep us going for more than a month or so.

You make an excellent point, I feel like in his defense though VHS disappeared much faster then it's taking DVD to loose support. Besides that, digital distribution being the next competing format is a fact that can't be argued with.

Not only do I always pick Bulbasaur, it's actually my favorite Pokemon of them all. I'm a big Squirtle and Charmander fan as well, and have found better long-term homes for them on my teams. However there's something about Bulbasaur that always makes me choose him (even though I regret it every time at end-game).

If you have to think that hard about it, then you're probably bordering the line of nitpicking.

Oh no, I agree entirely. I'm just saying that Rogue Squadron is there as an option for your kid, without being so old it's unplayable.

The Rogue Squadron game that launched with the Gamecube is still great, doesn't look awful either.

Ok, fair enough. Like I said, it was the overall negative tone of your comment that led to my response.

I'm not sure if you're 100% against kickstarter or not, the negative nature of your post implies so.

With that assumption in mind, it's worth noting for every large Kickstarter that gets a ton of negative buzz because the team screwed up, there's one out there that did everything right. People wouldn't continue backing

Lots of games are referenced in AVGN and the Game that aren't terrible, just games that have either been mentioned repeatedly on the show or done in one of their specials where they showcase great classics.

You're doing yourself a giant disservice. Uninstall the play disc and try it again, then you'll see the difference.

The game has really bad pop in and texture loading problems when the play disc is installed.

I disagree. I think PokeMMO is evidence that a Pokemon MMO can work if executed properly.

It's an idea that is great on paper, and through the only proper fan-made project (pokemmo) is great in reality as well.

You can agree all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that one of the official definitions of the word Geek implies a person who is exceptionally interested or skilled in a particular category or hobby.

During my entire upbringing, not that anyone needs to be targeted, it was pretty well understood that geek's

The SNES (original model) had a nice clamp that usually held the carts in there nice and tight for a secure connection. It was harder to put them in loosely or pull them out a bit.

I must of put my Diddy Kong Racing cartridge in there just SLIGHTLY not far enough one day, because I turned it on and could of swore Satan came out and started singing the theme song.

One of my favorite things about Vinesauce is how determined he is (like myself) that these glitches are the devil speaking through the

Yup, and he does it with an emulator to simulate a similar thing that cartridge tilting does. He gets more reactions that way, but I still prefer the cartridge tilt.

For those that don't know, and from the comments it seems to be a few, this is how these sort of glitches are pulled off.

First, and my favorite, is the cartridge tilt. You lift up on the left side of the cartridge ever so slightly, just enough to disturb a few of the contacts between the game and the console. What

I think the response is even more common these days because of FFXIII and FFXIV.

You have to remember, these titles come after LONG waits. If its been 8 years since you enjoyed a FF game but there have only been one or two released in those 8 years, it seems like its been a longer sequence of bad games.

For me, 12 was

There are a lot of people who would argue against that. I've been a fan since I was a kid and absolutely hated XIII. I know I'm not alone in that. I loved XII but despised XI. XIV is pretty good now, but it sure wasn't when it launched so remember that (they kind of advertise it now as a completely new game so I think

I can't believe people still take Kojima seriously from a narrative or character development perspective. Everything is either a radical overcomplication misconstrued as deep and intellectual, or really shallow.

No, man, the major staff members involved with the two VP games and even N&B are gone. That company is a ghost town in regards to people from the days when they made quality content.

Besides, I said VP was good, and I didn't say N&B was bad, just that it was a slap in the face towards the very people it was made for
