Look closer Máté, its there

For those who don't know, that's: Very Tall Engine Cooling, pioneered by Honda in the late 1930s. Still one of the most efficient engine cooling systems, every VTEC engine includes at least one Otto Cycle, a part unique to Honda motors.

Just so you know Doug, a Jalopnik sponsorship is $27.50 and a family-size bag of Doritos.

Even safer, take the damn hoodie off your head, you need to be able to see to the sides not just straight ahead.

Ha ha no. 8! Where I live every first snow of the year we have a ton of accidents, it's like we all forgot how to drive in the snow over the summer.

Putting a good set of winter tires on your car is the simplest and most cost effective way of making it better in the snow. A good set of all seasons will do the job, and a good set of winter tires is even better.

The average is better, but the worst are just as bad. And every snowy wreck/traffic tie up I've ever seen has been the work of one impatient moron.

Oh and warming up your car does not mean get in your frozen car, start it and rev the engine to redline for minutes at a time. These people are the ones that worry me when I buy a used car.

Another good one is that just because you can go, doesn't mean that you can stop.

Plus, snow donuts aren't going to do themselves.

I think the comparison there was RWD with snow tires and a good driver vs. FWD/AWD with all seasons and a regular (idiot) driver

One would think they would, given the fact that they get so much more snow, but I can tell you from experience, they don't. They're just slightly better at it than everyone else.

A rear wheel drive car fitted with proper snow tires, in the hands of a good driver is as good as anything else in the snow.

11. As long as I remove just enough snow/ice for me to see out it's okay to drive.

No, they can't. Seriously, here in Ohio when the first flake drifts down from the sky, you'd think we were in the tropics and the Snowpocalypse was up on us. People skidding out on the freeway, SUV's in ditches and more fender benders than you can shake an attorney at.

You may think that you just need to scrape off the glass, and you'd be wrong. You'll realize this the first time you have to come to a quick stop.

Hey, come back to the USA as an illegal immigrant, you'll get a "Free Get Out Of Jail" card, and a apartment, all utilities paid, food stamps and some spending money and you may even get a Obama Phone! This is what happens when you came to the USA legally and NOW, look what happens, they want to take everything from

"It's not called panicking if you're the first one out the door!"

you're right, & that is not really up for debate. What is up for debate is whether or not the NY DA is over-reacting.
