I was in college during Swine Flu and the biggest change was beer pong changed and all the cups were filled with water, and you just drank out of your own cup/beer when someone hit a cup.

My good rule of thumb for running when it’s cold is to dress like it’s about 10-20 degrees warmer than it actually is. Obviously your body will heat up as you run, so if it’s 30 out and you’re wearing pants, warm jacket, gaiter, hat and gloves, you’ll probably get way too hot and sweaty.

Good fake pepperoni probably already exists. Texture isn’t as important for a processed meat like that, plus it’s hard to notice its texture on a pizza. Just need to nail the seasonings which I can’t imagine is super hard.

That screenshot is very weird. 10 to 1 matching funds? So if I give $1, then another person contributes $10?

Probably also the closest place to the U.S. that wasn’t friendly to America and wouldn’t immediately turn over/arrest the hijackers.

I also remember during the whole Tonight Show fiasco his exit deal was delayed because he was adamant that his staff get paid. He ended up getting $7.5M for the staff

I have a “White Paw” squeaky toy that my dog loves.

I heard him in a recent interview on the Zack to the Future podcast (with MPG) that he doesn’t actually work out that much. He does some martial arts and light weight work, but most of it is just natural.

Yeah I feel like I’ve definitely seen stories on the news where they take people to closed courses and give them a drink and they do an obstacle course, then another drink and do it again etc.

In college we had a similar thing for the takeout meals in the dining hall. You were given your meal in this packaging, and the next time you go in, you just bring the dirty one, hand it to them and they gave you a new meal in packaging. Then they were washed and eventually given to someone else. It seemed to work and

I run 4-5 days per week, at least 4 miles at a time, up to 8 on a weekend. I’ve worn a mask every. single. time.

I do remember back in 2015 or 2016 they had the Washington Post wine critic rate it and he said the wines were actually pretty good. He did note that he’d never serve them because of the name, but that they were good.

Oooo interesting. I like that theory

The salad chain Just Salad puts carbon footprint data on their menus too.

Same. Did you ever get a code?

- Did the Wingraves really die in an “accident”? Or is this sanitizing conflict in a shitty marriage? “How their parents died and why they were taking that trip in the first place” makes me lean toward the latter.

This was super quick. I caught it fast but my girlfriend completely missed it.

That’s my guess as well. Not positive but I think one of the Lloyds they showed in the chapel said they lived in the 1600s. Most likely some familial relative

My mom would put the lint in tissue boxes, but then use those boxes/lint as firestarters for the fireplace or fire pit

Be careful when you go! I went years ago with my family when I was like 8 or so. Did the whole hike up (took WAYYY longer than anyone told us — we were told it was a quick hike up but it just kept going and going and going).
