This is my favorite non-O'Neal Newswire article in a long time, bravo!

I'm not too big on Slow Regard because it was too much of a slog to get through. I agree that it would have been better if she had cracked by doing some kind of magical experimentation that gave her a view of the universe that broke her mind or something, but the whole thing was so much of a puzzle and a bore that

Agreed. It's called "Run The Series" and that's what we expect. Watch all the goddamn movies. This piece is weak not only because he didn't finish the series (and if you're not going to buy it off Amazon for less than $6, find it online somwehere, jeesh!) But also because the final Death Wish is twenty years after the

These are the best reviews on the AV Club, hands down. I look forward to these as much as I was did about coming here to read about LOST back in the day (for different reasons, obviously.) But you guys are bringing your A-Game for the final season, well done.

I've heard of it, but never sat down with it. I loves me some B-movie sci-fi trash, though, especially when you can get Ernest Borgnine involved. Have you seen it?

I was the perfect age for this movie when it came out and I'd already been a Brandon Lee fan from Rapid Fire (he was the only good part about Showdown in Little Tokyo as well). I still yell, "This one's for you, T-Bird!" sometimes when I'm drinking.

I put down my phone and walked over to my desktop just to upvote this burn.

I wanted to like Sylvester McCoy's serials so badly. I read the novelizations before I got to see them. I was particularly excited about Curse of Fenric.

I saw him sitting outside the Sportsmen's Lodge one time smoking in a wifebeater. He looks pretty badass in real life too, but we were exiting the parking lot and I was humiliated when the driver made us go around again to take another look.

The trailer is on the 20th Century Fox site and iTunes, so you can see it there. Great trailer, I was watching it full screen and I jumped twice. http://www.foxmovies.com/mo…

Got nothing snarky to say, it pretty much looks like a fucking sweet movie. It's not a reboot, there's no toys they're selling, they're not cashing in on any kind of trend. The Matrix sequels were pants, but Cloud Atlas was awesome. Sure, it might be flawed, but it made me feel something and most blockbusters do not.

I'm an ale guy, so I've enjoyed the Trooper beer a few times and really enjoyed it. Valar Morghulis is a much more pleasant drinking experience than Fire and Blood, which I was really disappointed with.

I thought that version of Ave Maria in the last episode was beautiful. Didn't see Charlie's death coming either, that seemed a little overdramatic.

Joe Abercrombie is the balls and all of his books are pretty great (Before They Are Hanged and The Heroes stand out for me though) but if you're the kind that dives into fantasy series then start with the first book, The Blade Itself, because there are a ton of spoilers in the standalone books that will kind of ruin a
