This is always thrown out, and it’s always laughable. The reason you don’t see wildly different innovations anymore isn’t the rules, it’s the software. You can already see if an idea will work in CAD long before you have to build it and test it. You know, like they did in the before time. In the long long ago.

Agree. Especially the location of the light below the headlight.

NASCAR should just own up to the fact that it’s the WWE of motorsports and introduce similar narratives, a Monday Nite Raw race, and folding chairs drivers can hit each other with during intermissions.

Weird! My dog tore the f*** out of the Chrysler 200 bumper we had for a week, AND the Dodge Dart I reviewed a few weeks later. I wonder if it’s something in the paint/plastic that drives them nuts? Benz had an issue with soy or something in the wiring insulation on the W140s that would attract rodents that would chew

Or, you know, just don’t check your messages all the time.

Beautiful bike. Don’t fuck it up.

They won’t complain about that, either. They’re coming from Chevy Volts and Nissan Leafs and other cars that need plenty of excuses- they’ll just think dashboards are supposed to rattle like that.

As a recovering Hulkamaniac, I can only say that this is all too true.

My experience at a Chicago-area Volvo dealer is similar. Same core staff for years. Service manager 28 years- even the porters have been with the company 15 or 20 years. It’s awesome, honest, and the BRAND seems to care.

The Cadillac ETC has been cool ever since Warren Mosler stuffed the ass end of one with motor (Hardigree can confirm). :)

I feel like this happened in the mid-90s, already. And the late 70s. Pretty much every time Porsche goes big, starts a spending/arms race, and kills the series. Next proposal will be a production engine class to boost numbers and attract more manufacturers. Probably a 2.0L 4 cyl. formula with some kind of trendy

Yeah, but I’m slow.

Hot fuck! That’s ***INSANE*** money for that car!

Delta stranded me in Detroit for 11 hours once after NAIAS. At no point did anyone involved even pretend to give a damn.

Doesn’t the fact that they sold tens of thousands of vehicles that they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to sell count as compensation?

That costs more, right?

The fact that 168” seemed like a reasonable result is telling.

I think this is a well-thought-out response. Figure $2500-5000/year in maintenance and repairs (and, like, have the money) and you’re about right. Don’t expect to make it out for less ... especially with $1100 front brake rotors!

At least the transmission they replaced it with is terrible.

But they don’t know who you are. Maybe you can afford the Venom? Maybe daddy can? It makes no sense.
