Delta stranded me in Detroit for 11 hours once after NAIAS. At no point did anyone involved even pretend to give a damn.

Doesn’t the fact that they sold tens of thousands of vehicles that they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to sell count as compensation?

I would watch this.

As long as we get to hear, “ME GRIMLOCK KICK BUTT!” I’m fine with it.

That costs more, right?

The fact that 168” seemed like a reasonable result is telling.

I think this is a well-thought-out response. Figure $2500-5000/year in maintenance and repairs (and, like, have the money) and you’re about right. Don’t expect to make it out for less ... especially with $1100 front brake rotors!

At least the transmission they replaced it with is terrible.

But they don’t know who you are. Maybe you can afford the Venom? Maybe daddy can? It makes no sense.

As a decade-plus veteran of the aftermarket/tuning business, that seems insane to me. About half my clients are “kids” in their twenties, and the other half are guys in their late forties up (in between, they all seem to be busy breeding). I’d say you were a likely client for them ... weird that they didn’t perk up.

Are we still doing comment of the day? Because that’s the comment of the day.

I can personally vouch for the Renault being a monster. It was one of the first cars I ever encountered as a driver, and everything else in my experience since (Moslers, Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches, GTRs, you name it ...) has seemed pretty tame in comparison.

In my CR-V you could’ve done all of it. ;)

This thing. After a week of commuting in rush hour in a Smart ForTwo even Jesus and Ghandi would gleefully play a round of “Most Dangerous Game” with the designers of this thing’s POS transmission.

They raced primarily in America, though- no?

Group 44. For more than 20 years, the iconic white and green Jaguars re-set the standard for what good-looking racing livery should be, and their success in SCCA and IMSA brought Jaguar back into big-time international racing with Group C and Tom Walkinshaw. The XJR-15 and XJ220 would never have existed without Group

She clearly realizes you might be able to do better elsewhere. Ask for a raise.

Even if you need the work!

But will it baby? I recently drove the Trax ... and it will not.
