People still work with Roman Polanski and Woody Allen. I would say Kevin has a shot at redemption.

Yep. He thinks this will all blow over in a couple of years. And you know what? It might. Because the world is garbage.

Nick Jonas is very much into older women and I am very much into Nick Jonas.

The mental gymnastics that must be required in order to make that statement to a reporter are staggering to contemplate. Did he really think that anyone would think “a doctor told me a spanking from her boss would help her anxiety” actually fucking happened?!

“bomb cyclone”

Yea I get it too. It does seem pretty funny, but people forget that there are residents of Florida who may have literally never seen/walked/driven in conditions with snow and ice. Its just not safe.

As a resident of the Buffalo,NY area it makes me chortle whenever I hear about southern states panic over an inch or so of snow, but then again I understand they do not have the infrastructure to deal with it.

i was going to go there if nobody else did.

The most iconic Paul:

“...evidence that Amazon see’s the future of retail...”

Walmart is too full of human garbage. It’s like a prison that sells things.

I will pay more and go further out of my way to go to a Target over a Walmart. The store isn’t as crowded, poorly organized, or just generally unfriendly.

As for the demographic, Target’s focus on mom’s is central to Amazon’s approach to win wallet share. Amazon has, over the years, aggressively pursued mom’s through promotions around Prime along with loading Prime Video with kid-friendly content.

The Target in my immediate area is head, shoulders and and arms length above the local Walmart. Cleaner, quieter, much better and nicer help, products actually in stock and not strewn about the floor. The negligible price difference is worth the much nicer experience. I’ll take that over the savings.

In Canada, all existing and new Target stores will be rebranded as “Amazon, Eh?”

As long as Target remains in business , I see this as a good deal. I like Target. We shop there at least weekly for tons of stuff. I will, when pressed, go to Walmart. But target has cleaner, less crowded stores (Not because there are less shoppers but the aisle are wider and there are fewer families all shopping

BB&B isn’t necessarily that bad as long as you know what you want and where it is. However, their merchandising and store layout has always been shitty and has gotten worse over time.

No matter what, in a few years time, we’ll all work for, buy our goods from, and cash our checks with Amazon. Hail Bezos.

I went into a Bed Bath & Beyond this weekend for the first time ever. It was a horrible experience. Retail deserves a slow painful death. It’s unfortunate we must sell our souls to Amazon but it’s really about choosing the least worst option.
