I thought the cold callous approach was a bit odd as he always seemed warm when dealing with the hosts before. It seemed out of the blue to me, but maybe there's a reason for it.

LOLOL

I didn't know how old he was either til I started checking all the actors out on IMDB. I thought he might be 7-8 yrs older which is not a huge gap. He looks great for his age (not that I'm saying he's old, but damn! :)

At first that bothered me too. but he looks sooooo young (incredible genes!) like he's in his early 30s so I give it a pass. Also she looks a little older than her age to me. But usually this type of pairing would bug me to no end. I'm glad I'm able to look past it. lol

I agree. I'm surprised people want things to happen so quickly. They are usually the first ones to complain about "not getting to know a character" so they don't care about them anyway. I love the slow burn, so much to take in and analyze.

She has me totally mesmerized every time she's on screen especially when Benard is interviewing her.

I know. It would ruin the show completely for me.

This crossed my mind as well.

I agree. I watch Bernard very closely hoping NOT to see anything that would suggest he's a robot. I don't want everyone on the screen except Ford end up being a robot, for some reason that would take the mystery and thrill out of the show.

Ahhhh…thanks for explaining that. I couldn't figure that one out.

Unfortunately I can never place any of the songs. I have serious FOMO going on when all the commenters here can name the songs. lol

I didn't notice that…I must go back and rewatch. I thought I caught everything in this epi.

Her facial expressions, esp when being "interviewed" fascinate me. Sometimes I can't hear the dialogue for focusing on her expressions. You can see the "robot" side of her come out yet the human side mingled in with them. I look forward to Benard interviewing her every week. And we got it twice this episode which

I would include late 30s as well. A lot of folks in their late 30s were old enough in the 80s to appreciate the appeal as well.
