Yea, I also posted why I find it annoying. I associate it with rich, white, republican asshats I grew up working for as a poor immigrant kid in Long Island. I’m not sure why people keep insisting that I have to be wrong and that it HAS to be sexism. Ira Glass, to me, has a pretentious, obnoxious voice. I’m pretty damn

Ira Glass’s and Matt McLesky’s fry are as irritating as any female NPR reporter’s creaky voice. Whether coming from a male or female or any other gender, there’s something about it that is almost reflexively irritating.

Ok, no. Repeating the word like every two words and pronouncing every word with an upward inflection is obnoxious regardless of gender. Kinda reaching with that.

Yes, because Trump’s voice is sweet, gentle and music to the ears. He never raises his voice. And he smiles constantly! So it’s completely fair to expect the same of Hillary.

What we can glean from this:

Honestly, the very least surprising thing ever about the Donald Trump for president campaign is the fact that he’s an unapologetic cleavage starer.

It’s only offensive because Dennis the Menace was a horribly unfunny comic.

Ok, this shirt NEEDS to be reprinted because I absolutely want one. Do we know if the wonderful Ms. Ruben is still alive?

My friend went into a Target yesterday, and saw a bunch of onesies that said “Future President” in with the boy baby clothes. There were no such onesies on the girl baby clothes side. She took half of them off the rack and moved them to the girl side, which is why we are friends.

I’m really struggling here and trying not to feed the trolls that see this as “what’s wrong with today’s youth” and “race-baiting”. I have worked several places in my life and they have had different rules and regulations when it came to dress code. NONE of then have ever said you cannot wear your hair in a ponytail.

Someone needs to create a meme noting Hillary’s coat was made in Milan by union employees who get 8 weeks of paid vacation every year and Ivana’s dress was made by an impoverished Chinese sweat shop worker.

Thanks for the context. I worked at a call centre where they used a strict dress code as a way to keep us in line. They then used casual day certificates that cost them nothing as “prizes” for contests, and performance incentives. The funny thing were the people who managed to find gray areas in the extremely specific

LOOK! Mother-daughter matching is back in!

Coworker of the cosplayer; I saw the whole thing go down. So perhaps I can clarify a few things I’ve seen brought up in other comments:

She looks really sharp in that first picture. I’m surprised that her boss had a problem with that.

The irony of the people insisting she should have read the job’s requirements before agreeing to the job, not reading the article itself.

Unfortunately they can’t fire her for dress code violation. They detailed out the dress code and she’s following it. So unless she’s bad at her job not much of a leg to go on.

It amazes me how much other conservatives (hell, right wingers in general) attack Hillary. They fall into the basic tropes of her being a woman and it’s sad.

wasn’t Ivanka’s dress made in China?
