Um, do you live in NYC and are you familiar with Brownsville? Cause I’m a born and raised NYer, and know a number of people who grew up (and got out of) that area. I know what I’m talking about.

I once on the street saw a mother get MEAN to a toddler when he wasn’t walking quickly enough to catch up with her and then smacked him upside the head. He started crying (of course) which of course made her curse more. I obviously was staring, it was so shocking to see this. So what does the mother do when she saw me…
