You need to set goals with yourself. 1 week. Then 1 month. Then 3 months. Then 6 months.

This blue dress is lovely, actually. Shoulder pads or no.

I thought the boyfriend was odd.

I don’t think at any point that the documentary said the police had any part in the murder, only in the framing of Avery.

I truly believe that our society is better off with a justice system that would rather let a guilty party go free than convict an innocent party.

I give Penny Bernsten a lot of credit. She always seemed (and continues to seem) like a real stand up sort of person.

Huh, that’s interesting.

That one juror who had the medical absence thought he was innocent.

Supposedly Halbach thought Avery was creepy, and complained to her boss that she didn’t want to go to his place to take the photos. He made some creepy advances towards her. That’s all I heard.

It started filming over 10 years ago and only went to Netflix after HBO and other channels passed on it.

And then the appeal was with the SAME judge. How the hell is that legal?

OMG yes! When he was crying about some sort of ribbon on the stand so many years later? It was all SUCH an act, I was actually surprised no one called him out on it.

How they are both working is beyond me. Len needs to be disbarred.

a Nirvana shirt AND an Eazy E shirt.

I don’t get it. What’s wrong with painting and drinking?

I’m not certain you need to sign off on it. I mean, it sounds counter intuitive but my husband recently took life insurance policies out both on me and him (we recently had a baby, that’s why) and I don’t think I signed anything. I had to give ss # though.

I remember this case. The mother put something in the teenager’s drink (she was serving her alcohol). I’m pretty sure it was antifreeze too - and that’s what knocked her out and her mother, thinking she had killed her, wrote the suicide letter.

There's a Dominoes in PV? Ugh Global corporations make things so lame :-(

I have the opposite experience actually. I feel like almost everyone is doing better than I thought they would. I mean, the kids who went to Harvard and whatever are doing the best it seems, but the rest still seem to have good lives put together. Puts in perspective how much all the shit we worried about in HS really

I can totally relate. I lost 60+ pounds on summer in college, and going from a “nottie” to a “hottie” in a matter of months was completely bizarre. The exact same people treated me totally differently.
