I’ve always wanted what is called a “Sky Burial” as practiced by the Zoroastrians and a few other groups too in places like China and parts of Nepal. Basically, they bring the body to a mountaintop and let it decompose “back to the earth” and allow vultures and the like to feed on it.

While the bindi can have religious significance... it actually became a secular fashion statement by Indians. Sparkly diamond bindis are about fashion in India, and are not meant to be religious statements about the wearer’s chakra or signifying their relationship status.

I’m not against your sentiment in general but I just want to point out that I’m pretty sure that the caste system was a product of colonialism.

Most would argue that its not. Henna and bindis most people agree are cultural sharing as they don’t have any sort of deeper meaning for most people in their culture. It’s about as “appropriative” as blue jeans are.
