We didn’t even have them in HS. But a friend from Iowa (who happened to be homecoming queen) told me that its the most “school spirit” person whereas Prom Queen was “most popular” person.

I’m not disagreeing with you, but if the “machine” is in fact a real thing, I can sort of understand their concerns in terms of the political futures, potential husbands, etc which I’d assume is the sort of thing these women care about, and likely part of the reasons why they got involved in Greek life to begin with.
Birth of a Nation sounds like it. And it is absolutely an appropriate teaching tool but I’m concerned either the teacher didn’t teach it correctly or your cousin is confused. I'd talk to her about it.
Were you banned or greyed? Is it the same thing? I made a nudging joke a week or 2 ago on Gawker that could barley be considered anything “mean”. Boom, ban hammer lol.
I don’t disagree. I am NOT a Kardashian fan and think they whole thing is ridiculous but you can’t deny that their staying power is pretty unique - if only because there’s so many of them!
I’ve been noticing it all over the outer boroughs in NYC. But it makes cars look so cheap in my opinion, I don’t think it will be a big thing here.
And literally what I said is that hook up culture is very much alive and that it didn’t include sex and only occasionally oral sex. Seriously, read what I wrote. I mean, you pulled a lot of data to basically agree with me.
I grew up 10 min from NYC and that happened. But it was mostly people who didn’t know eachother in HS and only met up again after college.
Um, no. Hooking up, at least in my day, was just making out and maybe oral sex. Sex was not included in hooking up. Sex was sex.
I never understood the idea of high school romance. Like, YES I wanted to be in a romance, but even at that age I understood pretty much no one save for a handful of people had the maturity for a full on “real” relationship, particularly past senior year.
I dunno if it is sexist, but yeah the camera panned because they are pretty young ladies.
We didn’t give plus ones unless the invitee was in a relationship. Two guests who we don’t see too often asked for plus ones and that was fine. I mean, if they are dating someone, they of course that person is invited. But some random person? Why would I want a random person at my wedding?
Except Bermuda in particular is pretty famous for it
I went to the wedding of a very well-liked man to a very unpopular bride.
If you are going to start from teh beginning, NJ, NY and BH are the best imho. BHs’ 1st season is awesome. Atlanta and OC are good too, but they take longer to get into because they were the originals.
Depends on if you plan to start at the beginning of the seasons or not.
Is this the same Saudi prince who videoed speed racing down suburban Beverly Hills driving a yellow ferrari almost killing people last week?
While I was pregnant guess what food product had a massive recall due to listeria? Ice cream. But no one says not to eat ice cream. It's a shitty sickness but either you get it or you don't you know?
I had a glass here and there and admitted it to people. Honestly the only people who made a big deal out of it were the very high strung anxious types. And guess what? Kid is fine.
