Funny enough, in Canada over the years the warrenty has gotten worse progressivly; it has gone from 200,000km or 7 years to 120,000/5 years or in otherwords the bog standard within themarket ( same as Honda/Toyota).

I see your point, and get where your coming from, but car ownership/insurance is a “you got to pay to play” situation and myslef and plenty of Canadians have no sympathy for those that get fined for driving without insurance... There is simply no excuse.

Im also in Canada, and I honestly cant tell you the last time I saw a 90's Civic/Accord on the road; but I still see cavaliers/sunfire’s rolling around driven mostly by old people.

Ive noticed the same on my lowly NA Fiat 500 as well.
