Usually true, but when one actor is onscreen considerably more time than other actors, that argument loses some steam. At that point it looks like fundamental unfairness.

The whole “Colman will be paid properly” is false equivalence. Olivia Colman is one of the most well-known actors in England. Colman would’ve been paid more anyhow.
