Why would the strap break?  It looks to be a Factor 55 kinetic recovery rope, made for running starts and using the stretch of the rope to assist in the pull.  I had a rope like this for years and it worked many times to pull me and other vehicles out of mud, sand, and snow.

Good lord, talk about exaggeration. Ford Explorers are 200 inches long, this is smaller.

Big grilles and tall hoods are for pedestrian impact safety. But generally that is done to provide more space between the bottom of the hood and the engine. If there isn’t much under the hood, the hood height can indeed be lowered.

Seriously? Compare the tech in that 90s GC to this one. Turbo 4cyl with hybrid assist power train, air suspension, complex 4WD drive train, luxury interior with screens and computers everywhere, full suite of safety systems, glass roof, very high crash standards, etc.

You got 22mpg over 2 weeks in a hybrid?? My 2014 GC Summit with the V6 gets 20-21mpg when I drive it every day. What's the point in paying the hybrid premium? Did you never use the electric power?

Why did the make the face-lift so horrendously ugly? Is the suspension still insanely stiff? Does the rear fit two golf bags without lowering the back seats?

Koenigsegg had 5-spoke carbon wheels on their cars back in 2014. What part of the vette wheels is an industry first? 21" diameter?

Slightly longer than a Dodge Charger. Why the extreme hyperbole? It’s pretty much the smallest full size SUV on the road.

Probably because they didn’t want super hot air and soot being blown back into their intake manifold. I had an EGR delete on both my mustangs.

LOL sure bro, way to misinterpret what I’m saying.  I’m talking about VA’s retarded way of charging property tax.  I’m not 100% sure what black magic they use to calculate it, but it might be more on multiple vehicles than just one pricey one.  Regardless, chill dude.  How about you leave my vehicle decisions to me

Some people can’t own multiple vehicles due to lack of parking space, taxes, etc. And maybe I don’t want a used car? Plus the X3 has a bunch more cargo space than a Fit plus AWD for the winter, so it’s not even close to the same thing.

Is this a joke article pretending that 90% of ex-police Crown Vics and Chargers are towed by people of color? I guess all those guys are fine, even the ones that keep the spotlight and Police Interceptor badge, just the people buying nice, new Explorers are assholes. Got it.

Damn, you found the one white person that has ever bought an ex-police Crown Vic.

Lol, I came here for the good ol double standard. Fuck those guys for buying a nice Explorer that happens to remotely resemble a police vehicle. But don’t mind us buying ACTUAL EX-POLICE CARS and leaving the a-pillar lights, push bars, and Police Interceptor badges intact so it still looks completely like a cop car.

Yeah, I don’t think it’s just the M SUV’s that have pretentious owners....

Wow, this post really brought out the haters. I’m sure all you purists own an E30 M3 and talk about how every M car since ruins the brand...

Sonic Blue? Or custom paint? 04 Cobra wasn’t made in DIB.

I rented a 9 passenger van in Munich last year from Hertz. Can confirm there was a sticker on the windshield right in front of my face saying basically “Do NOT drive on the nurburgring”.

Sensationalist BMWblog is your source? Might as well get your Mustang scoops from HorsepowerKings.

Honestly, I’d try a Guinness pumpkin beer.  I love them and it sucks that I can only drink them 1-2 months out of the year.  But we 100% don’t need more IPAs from any brewery.
