Well yeah, I wasn’t saying $200k is anywhere near reasonable for a small Jag. My comment was more along the lines of “people pay an insane premium over sticker for the M4 GTS, so why isn’t this worth the same amount when it seems infinitely cooler?”

My experience actually driving government vehicles is quite different. On my base, most of the trucks and cars are driven from building to building no more than 3 miles at a time, so they never get a chance to warm up before being shut off. And some people just leave their trucks on and idling with the AC/Heat on

Agree. And to make your statement even more plausible, the last flight I was on a few weeks ago, while we were coming in for a landing, the pilot pulled up hard and fast out of nowhere. He comes on the mic a few minutes later “Well that was interesting. Turns out there was a plane on the runway on which we were

I honestly couldn’t care less about top speed. It sounds cool but chances are I will never experience it. I’d rather have a car with a great handling chassis, a really smart transmission (or manual), and a lot of usable power. Like this Jag.

And I love super sports sedans, so this thing is way cooler to me than the

Why is this price crazy and $150k for an M4 with a wing isn’t? At least Jag gives us rip-roaring blown V8 power and not the same old engine with water blown through the intake.

You sound like a class act. I highly doubt you are that important.

I don’t know much about the nuclear industry, but I do work with explosives on a daily basis and we have to jump through a ton of safety hoops to get any work accomplished. That being said, no matter how thorough your documentation is and how many big wigs review it, all it takes is one guy that doesn’t have his mind

LOL so take a picture from the back seat with a cell phone?

‘14+ Grand Cherokee. I’ve had a 50lb, 75lb, and 110lb dog all in the back at the same time, comfortably, with the seats down. It’ll handle one dog on a bed no problem. Yes, the wrangler might be cooler, but the GC actually has space for the dog and will handle all those road miles and long trips sooo much better.

I guess David Lee sees Ferrari as the cream of the crop as far as cars go, or he wouldn’t be so into them. But I read that article and it seems a bunch of “I can’t get what I want” rich-guy whining.

50 cents? The price gap has been at least 70 cents in the DC area for a couple years now. Makes me dread buying a car that takes premium. What the hell happened to it being a 10 cent gap between each grade?

And why is it all of a sudden harder to make high octane gas? What were they doing before adding ethanol?

Ford dealers selling the Focus RS, Gt350, and Raptor have already proved that they will mark up any popular car, regardless of how many the manufacture makes. Ford does not limit production on any of those vehicles.

I like the technology, especially the ball tracker since I bet 90% of their viewership is old and can’t see well. My dad watches golf on TV every week and his biggest complaint is seeing the ball. I do wish they’d use the drive stat tracker more often, showing the club speed, ball speed, and carry distance. It’s damn

Because I need an SUV and my jeep is boring. Why do they make a Golf R wagon or the SQ3/5/7?

I’m 100% sure they won’t do it. But it’d be the same as the Golf R vs the Audi S3. If they made a Tiguan R for like $45k, my Grand Cherokee would be gone in a heartbeat. I really want a fast SUV, but I can’t afford the SQ5, SRT Jeep, or X4 M4.oi.

Are they going to make an R version? Not R-line, but actual .:R? Put the Golf R drivetrain and interior in this thing and I’d go buy one tomorrow.

If we’re talking about crazy looking hot hatches above $35k, I can’t imagine why anyone would buy this Civic over a Focus RS. You get 50 more hp and two more drive wheels for like $2k more.

A coworker of mine got a lot of “that thing costs how much??” when he bought a Golf R. From everyone but me, basically.

Also, I think non-car people are flabbergasted at new car prices. My wife, who drives a 2006 Honda Accord that she bought new, thinks all cars should cost $30k just like they did when she bought

You should look up how HIDs work. All projectors are like that, the low beam is a high beam with a small plate blocking all the light above the cutoff line. And I’m pretty happy with my GC lights.

My first thought as well. At least go with one of the more recent 6 speed transmissions.
