Whyyyyy can’t any manufacturer other than zee Germans make this kind of vehicle?? I have a WK2 now, but I really want some sort of combo of an SUV and hot hatch. Something sporty and fun to drive that I can still take to Home Depot and throw a couple 50 lb bags of mulch in the back. Macan, SQ5, and some form of

How about on the GT3 version? I’m well aware the Fort GT has a flying buttress, it’s like the entire rear of the car.

Grand Cherokee, supposedly in 2018. Jeep won't even put a hemi in the Wrangler, no chance we ever see a factory Hellcat JK (or JL).

Based on the hilarious comments, posting this article on Deadspin instead of Gawker or Jezebel really backfired.

Totally disagree. First, the NSX doesn't have a flying buttress, just a huge air intake that goes from top to bottom. I don't see any daylight through that vent. Second, I'm a pretty big Ford fanboy and I think the NSX racecar looks absolutely badass. (Funny though, from the first pic, I think the NSX looks a helluva

Release the Hellcat Jeep already, sheesh...

Yeah, that does seem like a bit of a design issue... But then again, all they have to do is get ahold of the car and download the data instead of it being transmitted wirelessly. Either the car will go to Tesla to be fixed, or it will be put in a junkyard to hide the evidence while this guy claims the car crashed

Why haven’t I heard of this before? So why did all that Toyota unintended acceleration BS have any clout if they could just download the data?

Right?! Does Tesla not tell their consumers that they can wirelessly see everything you do in the car at all times?

You sure have an appropriate name. I would not buy a car with that box in it, just like I wouldn't put a device on my car that tells my insurance company how I drive. I don't need to add to the list of people telling me I shouldn't be driving over the insanely low state-mandated speed limit.

Remember the couple that thought their RV's normal cruise control meant it would drive itself? So they went to the back to sleep or whatever and crashed the shit out of it.

I don’t understand the statement by Mobileye. My Jeep has adaptive cruise control and crash mitigation. When using ACC and someone pulls a left turn across my path within 100 yards, the car slams on the brakes. I can even predict when it’s going to happen, so I’ll disable the ACC before it hits the brakes so I don't

Are we ever going to stop focusing on the clickbait Tesla involved here and ask the truck driver why he pulled an extremely unsafe left turn? If the Tesla needed to slam on the brakes to avoid the truck, the truck is at fault.

I’m going to have to agree that the truck driver needs to be partially or fully at fault here. Clearly, he made an unsafe turn if the Tesla drove right under the middle of his truck because the car didn’t slow down. But I guess saying the guy was watching a movie in the car absolves him from all responsibility.

I bought a Specialized Rockhopper back in the mid 2000's as my first upscale mountain bike. After hitting some mild dirt jumps down the street from my house (like maybe getting 1-2 feet of air), I realized I had bent the damn crank spindle. I reviewed the paperwork and found that it stated any jumping would void the

I fully support this take. I own a 2014 GC and yes, sometimes the shifter stops at neutral when I'm trying to put it in park, but I can absolutely feel it every time it happens. It's jarring because the shifter only moves forward about half an inch instead of the 2 inches or so it's supposed to go. It makes me look

“Nobody knows how this crash occurred..." False. I bet the driver knows exactly how it occurred, plus his passenger and the dude driving behind them.

Porsche sure makes a nice looking A7.

You can absolutely feel what gear you are in. The shifter has detents just like any mechanical auto shifter. I'm in Park, 3 clicks back and I'm in drive. Two clicks forward and I'm in reverse. Sometimes the transmission doesn't cooperate and only goes one click forward from drive even when you try to push it all the

BTW, I've had my 2014 GC for over a year. Yes, I've had the transmission go into neutral when I tried to go into park, but I could feel that it only went forward one click, so I knew to look down and make sure I put it in park before getting out.
