Do you.... realize that all automakers and states were in agreement with obama’s standards? Trump is the one who single handedly created this issue.
Agreed, though at 6.5k it’s not likely to go too much lower, at least not in semidecent condition.
So you have used Boxster/Miata/Z3 money for a two seater with a six speed and 300hp. I am not saying the others don’t have their charms, but you get a lot of performance bang for your buck here, also a great choice for a track day rat. Easy Nice Price.
This. Don’t assume that they’ll just wave you in with a smile, especially once they see that you are coming from a state where COVID is out of control.

I’ve only ever bought used cars for myself, but you’re always buying someone else’s problems.
no one mention a S2000? or did i just miss that?
that said, of the provided choices - my heart wants that lancia with all it’s might. i mean, a fulvia or aurelia are still pretty much unicorns in this country and definitely would have the wow factor. unfortunately, as simple as these cars are (V-4!), the lack of parts…
Given he’s technically unemployed, I think he should go for something much cheaper than his $40K budget An expensive/unreliable Euro luxury car is NOT what he needs. For what he needs right now, there is only ONE answer...
why so he can be laughed at by the people with the actual Porsche 356 out in LA?
everybody, STOP....
How about a c7 vert? They are into the mid $30s, quick, fun, easy to drive in traffic with a stick.
