I think it was the innovative parkour motion that added an extra dimension for me. I’m not great at Counter-Strike twitchy shooting, but adding platformer-style situational awareness and a few weapons/power-ups that synergized with it made me competitive in multiplayer.

The first Titanfall was incredible. The game took one of the best parts of BF2142, the mechs, and expanded that gameplay. A truly unique game. You could do mech or you could play as a regular ground-pounder.

I’ve watched the performance so many times already and still giggle with glee during it. Also whoever came up with putting Billie Eilish behind Gosling at the start deserves a bonus as there was something absolutely heartwarming in watching her barely keeping herself together there.

If this leads to Gosling in a Scorsese film, that’s more than kenough for me.

I saw both Poor Things and KOFM. Emma Stone is much more front and center in her movie and her performance is very showy. Lily Gladstone’s performance is much quieter and for me impactful. However, it isn’t hard to see why Stone took home the Oscar. Nobody got robbed of anything.

“Robbing” is a strong and inappropriate word. It would have been awesome to see Gladstone win because I really loved her performance, but Stone’s was also really incredible, and a much bigger part of her film. The award was up for grabs especially between the two of them, and not for Gladstone to lose.

Oppenheimer was an excellent long movie, that didn’t feel long.
